What a Story

What’s your story? It’s YOUR truth, it’s your history. When you become a Christian you are supposed to tell “your story”. Its typical that your story include what your life was like before you found Christ and then what your life is like since you found Christ. So many of us think our story is just vanilla, not exciting at all. You would be really amazed at how wrong that is. Your story can and WILL speak to someone. It could come at a strategic time in their life when they need to know they are not alone. It could be just the very thing that gives them hope. You just never know.

Psalm 78:4  ESV   ⁴ We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.

If we don’t share our history, the world history then it’s bound to repeat itself. That is ok if history is good but it not then repeating could be brutal – it could hurt. It could cause damage.

As a parent, that’s always one thing I would have loved to be able to do. If I could tell my daughter all the life lessons I’ve learned, if she could understand them and avoid my mistakes in her own life..it would be lovely.
